More visitors, more growth

As of today (Monday) all three puppies have their eyes open. You can see this in the photo of Paul and Orange Boy taken yesterday:

Stephanie had Green Girl, whose eyes just opened today:

And Patti has Purple Girl:

You can see how big the puppies are getting by comparing them to Pepper - remember how much smaller they were ten days ago!

And here is a video to let you see how active and vigorous they are. Purple girl is finished and has decided that an after-dinner nap is just the thing!

Wednesday visitors

We had a big day Wednesday. Stephanie and Glenda visited in the morning, but we don't have photos to share. Then Craig and Kay visited in the evening. Here they are:

I am having trouble uploading videos of the puppies, so I have decided to use my mac.com account for them in the future. You should use either Safari (Macintosh) or Internet Explorer (PC) as the browser; Firefox works on either platform. Connect to the url below:

Growing up

We are getting SO BIG! This photo was taken Sunday. Look how much we have grown.


The puppies are growing rapidly, as the chart shows. Colors of the lines correspond to the colors of the rick-rack for each puppy.










We are becoming so ACTIVE!

Two days old - the furkids got their rickrack today. The big girl is purple, the smaller girl (none is small, really) is green, and the boy is orange.

The puppies are becoming acclimated to life in the big, wide world (the big, wide whelping box, anyway).


Mom is, of course, a doting mother. Look at her broad smile. Ziggy the pug isn't too sure about the newcomers but he soldiers on.


The puppies are already active and thriving.

Pepper spent Monday night panting and keeping us awake. We KNEW it was time, and we were so glad we had scheduled a C-section for Tuesday. It went without a hitch and three active, healthy puppies were delivered. Pepper took to them immediately, as we knew she would.
